We're growing our software engineering team at Unbounce and we're looking for a passionate, experienced developer to join us.  

We're a highly skilled team of software developers who maintain, improve, and extend a distributed code base that's used by over 14,000 customers, serving over 150 million page views each month.  

We code review every change, continuously integrate, test frequently and extensively, and deploy rapidly.

A Little Bit About You:

  • You are a Senior Software Developer with at least 5+ years of experience working in progressively more complex software development environments
  • You have a strong understanding of object oriented and functional programming concepts
  • You have production experience with modern web programming languages.  Our team primarily uses Ruby and Rails though we're a fullstack company and work closely with teams who use Java, Clojure, and JavaScript; managed by Git; cloud-hosted (AWS) on Linux
  • You can articulate your ideas clearly and reason about your decisions well
  • You enjoy mentoring junior developers with regards to code quality and implementation approaches
  • You have a strong work ethic around testing and automation
  • You have a passion for learning and continuous improvement
  • You're experienced with various agile software delivery practices but are pragmatic, not dogmatic

  • Suggesting, scoping, designing and implementing new software components for our platform
  • Improving the quality and functionality of our systems

  • Working with junior developers to help them improve their craft
  • Working hand-in-hand with our Customer Success team to help our customers

  • Collaborating with other development teams across application boundaries
  • You're familiar with distributed systems and cloud technologies in production (AWS in particular)
  • You're interested in functional programming technique and approaches
