Front-End Developer

As a Front-End Developer at Unbounce, you’ll work within a supported and established creative/development process (backed by W3C standards and our brand guidelines). You’ll contribute to the development of our web and mobile applications while providing website maintenance and enhancements for Unbounce.com and other marketing initiatives.

A Little Bit About You:

  • You have 2+ years of front-end development experience
  • You display a solid understanding of building custom Wordpress themes from scratch
  • You write efficient and semantic markup in HTML, CSS, Javascript,  jQuery, and PHP
  • You’re up to date on the latest front-end technologies (responsive, retina images, pixel density, and CSS3)
  • You love to improve the efficiency in the design and deployment of our solutions
  • You’re a huge champion of coding standards for CSS & HTML and are jazzed about fine tuning our asset architecture and delivery pipeline
  • You’re keen to write functional requirement documents and specifications as part of your daily process
  • You have experience working on a team of developers where code reviews and feedback are encouraged

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the evolution and maintenance of Unbounce.com
  • Champion and contribute to front-end development initiatives to support digital marketing campaigns such as our Call to Action Conference, Digital Agency Day, and CRO day
  • As we grow internationally you’ll help implement solutions for the maintenance and scalability of the products we’ll develop
  • Work closely with the project lead to scope tasks and give estimated timelines for delivery
  • Collaborate with Front-End Developers and designers on a multitude of projects by reviewing code, providing feedback and constantly sharing knowledge and techniques.
  • Work closely with designers and our marketing team to discuss different technical solutions to provide the best possible experiences while meeting deadlines
  • Document and participate in cross-browser and cross-device compatibility testing
  • Create landing pages using our builder for a multitude of brand initiatives
  • Use CSS and Javascript to modify Unbounce Landing Pages
  • Maintain and document the code standards of our email template library
  • Champion page performance and speed, while being mindful of image optimization and asset compression
